Privacy declaration
The National (W)EEE Register respects the privacy of all visitors to this website. The data you enter on the site will always be treated confidentially and will only be used for the stated purpose. Processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: AVG). This Privacy Statement describes how Stichting Nationaal (W)EEE Register handles your personal data.

Goal
The purpose of processing your personal data is:

  • Offering an online statement portal through which your company can comply with any reporting obligation under the WEEE Regulation.
  • Supporting you via e-mail in complying with any reporting obligation under the WEEE Regulation.
  • Analyzing your use of the website to improve the website.

Basis of the processing for the statement portal
When using the declaration portal, you must register as an organisation. Personal data is requested to ensure that we can properly process your report and that you, as a collective, individual producer or processor, can comply with your reporting obligation under the WEEE Regulation. The National (W)EEE Register thus fulfills a legal task as in Article 6 paragraph 1 sub c AVG and is therefore obliged to process this data.

Basis of the processing of support via e-mail
If you have any questions about the National (W)EEE register or need support in submitting the report, please send an email to info@weee-register.nl. We must process your personal data in order to respond to your incoming mail. In order to provide you with a better service in the future, your data may be stored as well as the e-mail you have sent. The National (W)EEE Register only stores the data provided by you, including but not limited to your name, e-mail address and telephone number. By using the e-mail address mentioned, you give permission as stated in Article 6 paragraph 1 sub a GDPR for the processing of the information provided by you.

Basis of processing on the website
When you use the website, cookies may be used to ensure that you can use the website optimally. You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. The National (W)EEE Register will evaluate annually to what extent certain personal data are still necessary to store and if this evaluation shows that certain personal data are no longer necessary, they will be deleted in a proper and sustainable manner.

Your rights
Under the law you have the right to inspect your personal data and to correct or delete your personal data. The National (W)EEE Register and its processor can do this at your request. The National (W)EEE Register aims to comply with your request within 4 weeks.
